Job Summary

Laboratory Assistant will perform routine dry lab data validation, checking data labels and exporting results into tables for publications. Role will also assist to arrange meeting and training sessions for pediatricians in the community by setting up zoom and in person meetings via outlook and other calendar software.

Organizational Status

Working under the supervision of senior lab personnel and the Principle Investigator in Pediatric Palliative Care.

Work Performed

  • Assists in routine data validation and exporting data of our pain and irritability study.
  • Provides assistance with pediatrician/participant recruitment and training tasks.
  • Carries out any other related duties as required in keeping with the qualifications and requirements of positions in this classification.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives in conflict with one’s own
  • Demonstrates a commitment to enhancing one’s own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion

Preferred Qualifications

Two years of university undergraduate education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
