Position Summary ClimaChange Solutions is seeking a motivated and technically driven Sales Engineer to join our growing team in British Columbia. This full-time role is ideal for an individual who enjoys combining engineering expertise with relationship building, business development, and customer engagement.

The Sales Engineer will work closely with consulting engineers, contractors, developers, owners, and internal team members to understand project requirements, recommend HVAC solutions, and support equipment selection, design, and pricing. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving project success while developing and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to identify project requirements and develop HVAC solutions. Review project drawings, specifications, and design documents. Perform equipment selections and prepare technical proposals, quotations, and budget pricing. Deliver product presentations, technical training sessions, and demonstrations. Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support to customers. Assist with troubleshooting and application-related issues in coordination with manufacturers and internal resources. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and industry partners. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Maintain accurate project and customer records. Provide market feedback to support continuous improvement of products, services, and business processes.

Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Systems Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent HVAC industry experience. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment selection, and application design for commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi-residential projects. Proven experience in technical sales, sales engineering, account management, or customer-facing engineering roles. Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships while supporting the full sales cycle. Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical concepts to a variety of audiences. Knowledge of energy-efficient, low-carbon HVAC technologies and sustainable building practices is considered an asset. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the region as required.
