About the role

Contract Dates: 16 January 2026 to 12 January 2029

Initial 3 year Middle Leader contract with two (2) further three (3) year appointments subject to a satisfactory performance review at the conclusion of the initial contract.

This position holds a substantive permanent teaching position.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience - Graduate $86,600 - Proficient 8 $124,724 FTE Gross per annum, plus applicable Primary Position of Leadership 5 Allowance $16,280 gross per annum FTE

About The Role The role of Primary Position of Leadership, Wellbeing & Engagement provides leadership, service and support in the area of student wellbeing and engagement through working collaboratively with staff, students and parents. They will develop and implement effective and contemporary approaches to inclusive education with a particular focus on wellbeing (including social/emotion disability), student engagement in the classroom (including behaviour intervention planning) and engagement with the school (including attendance).

As a Teacher You Will

  • Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning
  • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment

Teachers are accountable to and under the direction of the school Principal or delegate.

Mandatory Qualifications And Requirements

  • Professional qualifications in Education

  • Registered or be eligible to register with Queensland College of Teachers

  • Leadership Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability in educational leadership

  • Demonstrated administrative ability

  • Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships

  • A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education
