Overview

Responsible for Issuer team support to Account Managers/Team Leads in Canada. Work with Account Managers/Team Leads to establish and execute on short and long-term financial, operating and business objectives in alignment with account plans. Monitor, analyze and report on business metrics for Canada and by Account to aid management decision making. Creates a pipeline and bench strength of talent into the career pathway.

Primary Duties/ Responsibilities

The selected incumbent will work directly with the Account Managers/Team Leads to:

Support the Financial Institutions (FI) Partnerships team in their everyday functions (account analysis and plans, executive briefs, key initiatives tracking, project management, planning of meetings/QBRs)

Support Team Leads in formation and tracking of key strategic initiatives

Analyze customers’ existing business through data analytics, competitive analysis and recommend opportunities for additional revenue

Develop and report on sales pipeline leveraging all available resources in coordination with the product development and account management teams

Develop long-term growth strategies to optimize mutual profitability across business lines

Assist in coordination of customer events & functions (meeting coordination, customer events, etc.)

Manage process around compliance, asset allocation, Franchise Management support, Salesforce.com maintenance and reporting

Skills

Ability to work collaboratively

Self-starter with an ability to work independently

Excellent oral and written communication, bilingualism is a strong asset

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects/programs

Strong team player, decisive and results driven, with high energy levels and initiative

Organization and time management skills

Exceptional business judgment and strategic planning skills

Business Case development, including financial analytics

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
