Job Description

The CDE Facilitator will lead the implementation, configuration, and governance of Common Data Environments (CDEs) across the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless information flow between design, construction, and asset management teams. This role is responsible for enabling interoperability between platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), ProjectWise, Aconex, and SharePoint through C#, Python, and API-driven integrations.

The position also supports data-driven decision-making through Power BI dashboards and performance analytics, while ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 and project information management requirements. The role plays a critical part in establishing scalable, efficient, and integrated digital delivery environments for complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, manage, and govern CDE platforms including Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), ProjectWise, Aconex, and SharePoint in alignment with project and client requirements.
Develop and implement interoperability solutions usingC#, Python, and REST APIsto enable seamless data exchange across platforms and systems.
Design and automate workflows for document control, model exchange, approvals, transmittals, and version control across integrated CDE environments.
Establish and enforce CDE standards, naming conventions, metadata structures, and information governance in compliance withISO 19650.
LeadSharePoint architecture and setupto support structured collaboration and integration with project CDEs.
Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline file synchronization, metadata mapping, and cross-platform coordination.
Build and maintainPower BI dashboardsto monitor CDE performance, document workflows, model delivery, KPIs, and overall project health.
Support bulk data uploads, migrations, and structured information exchange between legacy systems and project platforms.
Collaborate with BIM, Digital Delivery, and IT teams to align CDE workflows with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project delivery requirements.
Monitor system performance, data integrity, and user adoption, implementing continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Identify and resolve interoperability challenges, ensuring reliable and scalable data exchange across all platforms.
Provide training and technical support to project teams on CDE usage, workflows, and best practices.
Support digital twin and asset information management initiatives through structured data capture and integration.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in CDE management, BIM digital delivery, or information management within major infrastructure projects.
Strong proficiency inC# programmingfor developing integrations, automation tools, and interoperability solutions.
Proficiency inPythonfor scripting, data processing, and workflow automation.
Experience withRESTful APIs and .NET frameworkfor system integration and cross-platform data exchange.
Hands-on experience configuring and administeringAutodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), ProjectWise, and Aconex.
Proven experience inSharePoint setup, configuration, and integrationwithin project environments.
Strong experience inPower BI dashboard development, including data modeling, visualization, and integration with BIM/CDE data sources.
Solid understanding ofISO 19650and information management/CDE governance frameworks.
Experience with metadata structuring, file naming conventions, and document control workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot interoperability and data exchange challenges.
Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate across BIM, IT, and project delivery teams.

Nice to Have / Assets: Working knowledge ofPowerShellfor automation and administrative scripting.
Working knowledge ofSQLfor data querying, transformation, and reporting.
Familiarity withJavaScriptfor advanced integrations or lightweight application development.
Experience withETL processesand data pipeline development across multiple systems.
Exposure todigital twin platformsand asset information management systems.
Experience working onrail and transit infrastructure projectsor with large public-sector clients.
Demonstrated interest in innovation, automation, and continuous improvement in digital delivery environments.
