Job Description Senior Developer Corporate Services - IT & CIO - ERP Solutions Status: (2) Regular Full-Time position Salary Range: $94,455 -$118,069 per annum plus comprehensive benefits Hiring Range: $94,455 - $106,262 per annum plus comprehensive benefits Work Mode: Hybrid *see below for more details about this work mode. Location: 7120 Hurontario, Mississauga Hours of Work: 35 hours per week Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), the Senior ERP Technical Specialist provides advanced technical expertise to support and enhance the Region's ERP environment, including SAP SuccessFactors, Workforce Software, and SAP S/4HANA solutions. As a senior technical resource, you will play a key role in delivering enterprise technology solutions that support business transformation, operational excellence, and service delivery across the organization. You will contribute to the Region’s ERP modernization roadmap through system enhancements, technical upgrades, new implementations, and ongoing support of critical business applications. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ERP professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and mentoring team members while delivering impactful technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for: ERP Solution Design and Support Design, configure, enhance, and support ERP solutions across SAP SuccessFactors, Workforce Software, and SAP S/4HANA environments Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues through root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable solutions Configure business processes, workflows, integrations, security roles, and system enhancements to support evolving business requirements Ensure solutions align with SAP best practices, architectural standards, and development methodologies Maintain technical documentation, including configuration specifications, support procedures, and recovery processes Project Delivery and Technical Leadership Provide technical expertise and leadership on ERP projects, upgrades, integrations, and transformation initiatives Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and support partners to design and deliver effective technology solutions Support solution design, effort estimation, testing, implementation planning, and deployment activities Mentor team members and provide guidance on complex technical issues and solution design Contribute to project and operational planning activities as part of multidisciplinary teams Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement Support ongoing system maintenance, production support, and enhancement activities Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, user experience, and business processes Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies and recommend improvements to support the Region's ERP roadmap Work collaboratively with vendors and support partners to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and support upgrades Support special projects and perform other related duties within the scope of the position, as required What the role requires: Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field Minimum five (5) years of ERP application development, configuration, or support experience within SAP SuccessFactors, Workforce Software, SAP S/4HANA, or similar enterprise platforms Minimum two (2) years of experience providing technical leadership, mentorship, or advisory support to technical teams Experience supporting complex enterprise systems, integrations, and technology initiatives An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Skills/Abilities: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and stakeholder relationship management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines Knowledge of software development lifecycle and IT service management frameworks, including SDLC, PMBOK, COBIT, or ITIL Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and customer service excellence Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous learning, inclusive behaviours, and respectful collaboration Nice to have: Experience with Workforce Software advanced configuration, Time & Attendance, Scheduling, integrations, reporting, and workforce management solutions Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Fiori, SAP Activate, APIs, OData Services, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, and iFlows Relevant SAP SuccessFactors, Workforce Software, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, or ABAP certifications Experience with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar development and IT service management tools Experience supporting large-scale ERP transformation initiatives within municipal, public sector, or complex enterprise environments Join us—be bold, think big, and help shape a better tomorrow.
