About The Opportunity Working in a customer-centric environment, the ideal candidate plays a critical role in optimizing and modernizing the business operations. The role ensures operational processes and controls support efficient, compliant and scalable deliverables.

This role focuses on process improvement, compliance and digital transformation among the different departments supported by operations

In This Role, You Will

  • Analyze end-to-end operational process
  • Collect, analyze and report on operational data
  • Monitor day-to-day operational performance and identify trends or issues
  • Support process improvement initiatives through data analysis
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports
  • Support testing, implementation, and rollout of operational changes
  • Assist in identifying root causes of operational inefficiencies

Essential Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. applied mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, operations research, or engineering)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a business analysis role with strong data analysis skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and basic data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information and ideas in a succinct, organized manner
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well at all levels internally and externally
  • Well-developed investigative and analytical skills, with a track record of solving problems and analyzing information
  • Demonstrated ability to create effective presentations, reports, and training materials
  • Works efficiently and independently, prioritizing requests from various sources
  • Effectively manages obstacles to meet tight deadlines
  • Applies creative thinking to new ideas to produce thoughtful, analytical, and creative work
  • Exhibits a “can-do” approach, projecting a positive, enthusiastic attitude to internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct working knowledge of SQL, Python, or SAS

The base salary range for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000. Offers are determined by a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, along with internal equity. In addition to base salary, Canada Guaranty offers comprehensive total rewards package, including bonuses, company-matched retirement programs, health and dental coverage, flexible work options, and a friendly, inclusive, and supportive culture.
