invites applications for the following regular position,

effective September 8, 2026

Dr. George Johnson School

5.75hr/day Regular Educational Assistant 9am-3:30pm

Ability, Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent

  • Para Educator Certificate desired

  • Relevant training and experience

  • Course work in behavior management

  • Demonstrable computer/technology skills

Responsibilities May Include

  • Supporting

    students academically, socially, and behaviorally

  • Assisting

    with communication and speech-language activities

  • Supporting

    individualized student programming

  • Assisting

    with supervision and daily routines

  • Supporting

    student safety, personal care, and mobility needs as required

Salary: According to the Collective Agreement
