The Stock Transfer Administrator - CDSX is responsible for the receiving, validating, confirming, and processing of securities and items received from the Canadian Depository for Securities (CDS) such as CDSX Withdrawals, Deposits, and transfers as well as various administrative duties within the Operations group.
This role is fully in office (5 days/week) - based in Toronto, ON.
Key Accountabilities:
- Timely processing and reviewing of items received from CDS
- CDSX Validation and Confirmation
- Research and resolve CDSX discrepancies
- Daily review and administration of the CDS Reconciliation report
- Daily transmission of the CDSX files
- Handling inquiries as it relates to CDSX transactions
- Emailing DRS transactions and invoices to presenters
- DTC processing and administration
Must Have (s):
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to analyze, problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision
- A working knowledge of the securities industry as it relates to CDSX administration
- A willingness and ability to adapt to a changing environment and responsibilities
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and communicate with peers and all
levels of the company - Must have a flexible schedule to work overtime as required
- High attention to accuracy and detail
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills – MS Office Suite and Google Suite of products and other desktop applications
- Previous experience in a securities environment
Nice Have:
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and similar courses are preferred, but not essential
