About the role

Purpose: The Summer Student position works in a support function within the relevant department in an administrative and/or a technical capacity. It provides the student with the opportunity to develop relevant skills and experience and receive experiential on-the-job training, guidance and mentorship.

Education: Current BBA or iBBA student at the Schulich School of Business.

Experience: Previous work experience may be considered.

Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, the First Year Advisor will be in frequent communication with newly admitted students- Must have strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- Must be comfortable presenting to groups of approximately 50 people- Strong attention to detail and initiative
