Living Waters Catholic Separate School Division
invites applications for Finance Clerk**(Temporary full time – maternity leave)**at Living Waters Catholic School Board office in Whitecourt
Living Waters Catholic Separate School Division Central Office personnel provide excellence in service and care to Catholic schools in Edson, Whitecourt and Slave Lake.
In your role as the Finance Clerk, you are required to perform all aspects of the finances for our computerized operation. This includes accounts payable processing, bank reconciliations, funding reconciliations, accounts receivable, and purchase card processing, along with coverage of other admin positions. You will also provide financial expertise to each of our 7 schools. This position will also be expected to complete school visits in each community on a minimum quarterly basis.
Experience/Qualifications:
- 2 years of business school training or equivalency beyond high school
- 2 years of experience with computerized accounting systems
- Excellent knowledge of computers, Excel, Word and Sage 50
- Experience with Atrieve software would be a significant asset
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize while working in a collaborative setting
- Efficiency while multitasking
- Conduct themselves in a professional and caring manner
- Experience with filing GST is an asset
