COILED TUBING OPERATOR – RED DEER (RDC)

The Coiled Tubing Operator is responsible for the safe operation of equipment during the hours of their shift.

Responsibilities

Ensure that Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is the priority in all activities Operate various large duty trucks over outdoor terrain and through all weather conditions Participates in the investigation of incidents Perform pre-and post trip inspections and accurately fill out all required forms Attends pre-job safety meetings on location Establishes and maintains effective communication with colleagues Inspects and properly configures all equipment Perform rig-up (assembly) and rig out (disassembly) of all equipment for travel Perform maintenance operations to units and auxiliary equipment Confers with supervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies Ensure all Workplace Safety, Environmental and National Safety Code Policies and Regulation are followed

Experience & Skills

Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence is required

Pressure pumping experience is preferred High school diploma is an asset Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested Physically demanding, heavy lifting required Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
