About the Role:
We are seeking a Line Service Technician (LST) for a temporary 6-month position. The LST plays a critical role in supporting ground operations for both inbound and outbound aircraft, assisting flight crews and passengers. This position also supports various departments, including Charter, Aircraft Maintenance, and Facilities.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong ability to follow procedures and adaptability to a dynamic work environment. Safety is paramount, as LSTs handle fuels and hazardous materials in a high-noise, high-risk airport environment. Attention to safety protocols and teamwork are essential.
️ What You’ll Do:
- Arrivals and Departures Support such as fuel aircraft, ensuring aircraft are chocked, locked and secure and Loading/unloading baggage
- Perform aircraft lavatory and potable water service
- Assist pilots with aircraft pre and post-flight services
- Check Facility and Fuel Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine refueller and fuel farm checks
- Hangar and facility maintenance and cleaning
- Winter Operations Support such as De-Icing/Anti-Icing of aircraft and Shoveling/Ploughing of immediate operations areas
What You Bring:

Minimum High School Diploma; aviation and or college-level education will be consider an asset

Knowledge of safety requirements in a maintenance/aviation environment
-
Strong customer service and quality service approach
-
Solid problem-solving and judgment capabilities
-
Self-starter, able to act independently and conduct work under minimal supervision
-
Possess solid interpersonal and collaboration skills
-
Ontario driver’s license with clean abstract required
-
Radio license preferred or able to get one in the short term
-
Possess or able to attain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP)

Hours of Work:
-
40 hours of work per week; shift rotations covering seven days per week as well as on statutory holidays.

There might be “callouts” outside of regularly scheduled hours resulting in overtime pay.

6-month temporary position.
