About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Systems & Processes, the person in this role will be assisting with managing the day-to-day use of all Finance-related systems and the associated process development. This will include the time and expense reporting system, the ERP system, the CRM system and any other associated platforms across the company.
To do this effectively, the person in this role will work with Operations to ensure data integrity is maintained and processes are understood and complied. In addition, this role will work closely with other staff in the Finance department.
Accountabilities:

System entry and maintenance of key records, including projects
-
Ongoing monitoring of metrics that could indicate that follow-up from Finance or Operations is required
-
Responding to ad hoc questions and resolving issues regarding any Finance-related systems
-
Working cross-functionally between departments to coordinate initiatives and implement related practices and procedures as needed
-
Identifying gaps in various Finance-related processes and developing/enhancing existing processes, procedures, and tools
-
Providing ongoing training to staff regarding the proper use of all Finance-related systems
-
Develop corporate training materials, including workflows, training videos, FAQ documents and PowerPoint presentations for any new Finance processes or system functionalities
-
Assisting with change management and communications related to new processes and/or system implementations
-
Providing ad hoc support to the Finance Team as needed

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or business function preferred
-
2+ years of experience working with a variety of systems
-
Proven experience in learning a variety of systems quickly
-
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as autonomously in a high-volume dynamic environment
-
Superior communication skills, both oral and written
-
Basic understanding of accounting concepts
-
Strong analytical and organizational skills
-
Adaptable and able to prioritize varying daily requests
-
Experience working with NetSuite, Salesforce and/or Power BI would be considered an asset.
