Job Details: This position seeks to provide prevention for youth and families by making connections for help early and timely so that issues do not reach crisis levels or become repeating crises. To improve the behavioral health status of children in our service area and beyond by linking them with the appropriate mental health services. Specialist will assist community providers in navigating the Ohio Pediatric Psychiatry Access Line (OPPAL) and connecting with Dayton Children's Psychiatry Team. Specialist will complete outreach to area providers and enroll them in the OPPAL program. Maintain comprehensive list of mental health resources in the Dayton Children's service area. Curating patient specific resource lists to support mental health access. This position will assist in coordinating meetings and trainings, including ongoing communication with Dayton Children's and the OPPAL team.

Experience: Department Specific Job Details:

  • 1-2 years experience in Social Work or Counseling is preferred

Schedule:

  • full time, 40 hours
  • Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • grant funded position, through end of fiscal year 2026
