A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistics A Hands-On Role at the Heart of Logistics As part of the Optimization team, you will play a key role in planning delivery routes for our drivers.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently plan delivery driver routes using route planning and optimization software.
- Ensure routes meet defined criteria and make adjustments when necessary.
- Communicate promptly with the Team Lead regarding technical issues or any situation that could cause delays in route optimization.
- Monitor truck departures according to station schedules and report any delays or issues to the Team Lead.
- Ensure data accuracy before, during, and after processing, in accordance with established protocols.
- Perform data cleaning and geolocation of addresses flagged as errors, following established procedures.
- Participate in daily team meetings and contribute to department improvements by identifying challenges and optimization issues.
- Collaborate with team members and provide support when required.
- Perform any other related duties or responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in data entry or a similar role.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required due to interactions with teams and partners across Canada.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, and efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Experience in transportation and logistics is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of geocoding is considered an asset.
