About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Executive based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to drive enterprise growth by helping organizations transform their data capabilities and adopt innovative cloud and AI solutions.

You will manage complex sales cycles, build strategic relationships, and position technology solutions that address critical business challenges.

Working with enterprise clients, technology partners, and internal experts, you will act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey.

The position combines new business development, account expansion, consultative selling, and strategic partnership management.

You will contribute to the growth of a modern technology portfolio spanning data services, cloud platforms, managed services, and AI-driven solutions.

Accountabilities

Develop and execute territory strategies focused on new customer acquisition, inbound opportunity conversion, and expansion of existing accounts. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through disciplined forecasting, account planning, and consistent opportunity management using CRM tools. Identify, engage, and develop relationships with enterprise prospects across industries such as financial services, retail, manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare. Lead discovery conversations with senior business and technology stakeholders to understand challenges and position relevant data, cloud, and AI solutions. Sell complex technology services including managed databases, cloud data platforms, AI strategy, automation solutions, and production AI capabilities. Partner with major technology ecosystems and field teams to develop joint opportunities, leverage partner programs, and accelerate deal execution. Manage enterprise sales cycles from initial discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and successful close. Coordinate internal resources including solution architects, delivery teams, legal, and finance to ensure effective execution of complex opportunities. Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, business cases, and RFP responses tailored to customer needs. Maintain strong client relationships, capture market insights, and contribute feedback to improve sales strategies and customer outcomes. Represent the organization at client meetings, industry events, partner engagements, and sales initiatives as required.

Requirements

6+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Demonstrated experience selling data, AI, cloud, managed services, or related technology solutions to enterprise customers. Strong understanding of managed services sales cycles, recurring revenue models, and enterprise procurement processes. Experience working with hyperscaler or technology partners such as Google Cloud, Oracle, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or similar ecosystems. Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles while coordinating internal teams and maintaining deal momentum. Strong business development skills with a balance of new logo acquisition and strategic account growth. Ability to engage confidently with executive-level stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and other senior decision-makers. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for forecasting, pipeline management, and account planning. Strong consultative selling approach with the ability to diagnose customer challenges and recommend effective solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Curiosity and continuous learning mindset, especially regarding AI, cloud technologies, and evolving enterprise technology trends. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
