Job Description
Reporting to the Director, Contracts, this position is responsible for managing the process of preparing and submitting Request for Proposals (RFPs). This involves coordinating input from various teams, creating a compelling proposal, ensuring compliance with customer requirements while respecting strict timelines.
Main Responsibilities
- Scopes new RFP opportunities for Acute business across the country.
- Coordinates Medline’s response to RFP’s with product & clinical specialists, regional sales team , regulatory representatives to ensure bid compliance.
- Responds to RFPs from Healthcare Facilities across the country, including shared services and group purchasing organizations.
- Prepares financial business case for review based on current costs, currency and RFP specifics (such as volumes & rebates).
- Liaises with product specialists to identify product equivalents and product specifications for proposals.
- Completes technical and business related questions for tender responses.
- Liaises with Quality, Operations, Finance, Clinical and Product Specialists to ensure bids are accurate, compliant and complete, in time.
- Orders samples for bid submissions and evaluations related to bid submissions.
- Communicates with internal stakeholders on award notifications.
- Completes RFP debriefs upon win/loss notifications.
- Leads project improvements in reference to existing process improvements & efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Exceptional analytical & organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities
- Ability to work under pressure with specific deadlines
- Proficient with Excel, and other Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Bilingual (French & English), both Verbal & Written, a strong asset.

- Assurer la liaison avec les spécialistes des produits pour identifier les équivalents et les spécifications des produits pour les propositions.
- Répondre aux questions techniques et commerciales pour les réponses à l’appel d’offres.
- Assurer la liaison avec les spécialistes de la qualité, des opérations, de la finance, de la clinique et des produits pour s’assurer que les soumissions sont exactes, conformes et complètes, à temps.
- Faire la commande d’échantillons pour les soumissions et évaluations liées aux soumissions.
- Communiquer avec les parties prenantes internes sur les notifications d’attribution.
- Compelter les débriefings des appels d'offres lors des notifications de gain/perte.
- Diriger les améliorations du projet en référence aux améliorations et efficacités existantes des processus.

- Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches en même temps et à gérer efficacement les priorités

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$75,400.00 - $113,200.00 Annual
