**Summary:**The part-time Consort Bar bartender maintains the highest standards possible for guests by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional bar service.
The starting wage rate for this position is $25.98 per hour. After six months of employment, the rate will increase to $28.48 per hour, in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
- Assess customer's needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and drinks
- Requisition and restock bar with all essential products and equipment
- Provide an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Keep a clean working environment at all times
- Monitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicated
- Check identification of guests ensuring alcohol is being served only to those patrons of legal drinking age
- Observe and adhere to all liquor liability laws
- Communicate with guests and respond to feedback in a positive manner, resolving any service issues
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers and wines
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have valid Smart Serve certification
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Must be able to speak fluent English
