**Title:**Communications Assistant, Summer Student, Part Time - Term Position –8 weeks, 2026

Job Overview
Reporting to the Regional Communications Business Partner, as theCommunications Assistant Summer Studentyou will provide support to communications and marketing initiatives including internal communications, digital content, and event coordination. You will assist with communications materials, organizing documentation, and will support regional initiatives such as employee communications and general administrative duties.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting in:
- Implementing an effective internal communications plan to support business goals, develop brand awareness, and align with company mandate and priorities.
- Preparing content for editorial channels and communications materials.
- Coordinating and preparing regional initiatives and events including employee engagement activities and company celebrations.'
- Administering documents including filing, labeling and organizing and maintaining communication records and monitoring spreadsheets.
- Organizing communication assets and documentation.
- Writing and publishing content for Qualico’s intranet, internal newsletters, and other communications platform.
- Providing support to other projects or administrative duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Team, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
- Comfortable using Content Management Systems (HubSpot, Sitefinity) and Social Media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in the use of Canva or Figma are preferred.
- Knowledge in CapCut, Davinci Resolve, and Premiere Pro are an asset.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or similar software is an asset.
