As we continue our strategic digital transformation journey, the role of Manager, Agriculture Process will be pivotal in reshaping how Agriculture processes operate across our global network.

About The Role. McCain Foods is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as Manager, Agriculture Process , as part of our global Business Transformation program. Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations Transformation, this role will serve as the global process lead for Agriculture —driving the definition, implementation, and optimization of standardized, digitally enabled Agriculture processes across all regions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Agriculture processes—including crop planning, grower engagement, contracting, and raw material supply management—are effectively embedded into our ERP (SAP S/4HANA) and related digital platforms. This role ensures alignment with both global business priorities and local operational realities.

The Agriculture Process Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Global and Regional Agriculture, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, and Digital Technology—to ensure end-to-end process integration and sustainable business transformation. Additionally, the role will support change management, performance monitoring, and governance to ensure long-term adoption and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing. Strategic Agriculture Process Leadership

  • Serve as the global process lead for Agriculture within McCain’s Business Transformation program.
  • Drive the definition and implementation of standardized, globally aligned Agriculture processes across all regions.
  • Ensure Agriculture processes are digitally enabled and embedded eventually into SAP S/4HANA and other Edge systems supporting farm-to-plant integration.

Current and Future State Process Design

  • Organize and facilitate Current State Mapping workshops, engaging key regional stakeholders.
  • Lead pre-work preparation including Signavio process mapping and documentation.
  • Define the Future State Vision for Agriculture processes, aligned with transformation priorities and strategic business objectives.
  • Identify and document global and regional boundary systems and their connections with SAP to enable robust end-to-end integration and accurate SIT/UAT test script development.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify areas of risk, inefficiency, or opportunity, partnering with teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Apply PC&R knowledge where applicable to ensure alignment with Agriculture operational workflows.

Cutover Planning & Deployment Readiness

  • Actively participate in cutover planning activities to ensure Agriculture process readiness during deployment.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to validate data migration, system configuration, and business continuity plans.
  • Support the creation and execution of cutover playbooks, ensuring clear sequencing, accountability, and timing of Agriculture-related activities.
  • Engage with regional and site-level stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems and processes to the new digital environment.

Cross-Functional and Regional Alignment

  • Act as the primary liaison between Global Agriculture, Regional Agriculture teams, Business stakeholders, and the Edge team.
  • Support regional deployment of global processes, ensuring local requirements are incorporated without compromising standardization.
  • Facilitate workshops, process design sessions, and alignment meetings across functional and geographic boundaries.

Change Enablement & Governance

  • Support change management efforts, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training strategies specific to Agriculture.
  • Define and monitor key Agriculture KPIs and metrics to ensure alignment with McCain’s operational and transformation goals.
  • Support internal and external audit readiness for newly implemented processes and systems.

What You'll Need To Be Successful.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Agriculture operations, grower management, or agricultural supply programs, ideally within a multinational or food manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience implementing or supporting digital transformation initiatives, including ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
  • Understanding of agriculture value chains, crop lifecycle management, and supplier contracting processes.
  • Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and digital tools for Agriculture (e.g., PC&R, Crop-In Cloud, GXCore)
  • Experience working in cross-functional, global teams and navigating matrixed organizations.
  • Strategic thinker with a practical approach to process improvement and problem solving.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; able to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and drive clarity in ambiguous or evolving environments.
  • Comfortable bridging business and technical perspectives to deliver end-to-end process solutions.
  • Passionate about sustainable Agriculture, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
