About the role
Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a "can do" attitude. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Supply Chain Department at Cavendish Farms.

Consolidating less than truckload shipments into full truck loads to maximize load factor.

Work closely with various departments to improve order sizes.

Execute order changes in the Transportation Management System, Mercury Gate.

Rate and tender loads to carriers.

Responsible to report on and drive improvements when load factor is below target.

Responsible for a use case around load consolidation automation.

University degree or College diploma preferred.

3-5 years of relevant Supply Chain experience is preferred

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.

Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office Suite of applications and transportation management systems
