Title: Senior Epic Conversion Project Manager
Duration: 2 -3 months
Start Date: Nov 1
Travel: Remote - Some travel may be required to Canada
Working Hours: 1 hour ahead of EST
We are seeking a Senior Epic Conversion Project Manager with deep expertise in driving complex healthcare IT implementations. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage high-complexity project scopes, and coordinate with technical and functional stakeholders, as well as external vendors, to ensure successful Epic data conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end Epic data conversion projects , including legacy system migrations (e.g., MEDITECH ? Epic).
- Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders, vendors, and Epic teams to plan, execute, and monitor conversion activities.
- Oversee data mapping, validation, ETL processes, and HL7 message handling to ensure accurate and compliant data migration.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across complex project workstreams, escalating as needed.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven senior project management experience managing high-complexity healthcare IT projects.
- Hands-on experience with Epic data conversions , specifically MEDITECH to Epic migrations .
- Strong understanding of technical aspects , including Bridges, Corepoint, HL7 messages, ETL processes, and data validation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical or clinical background in healthcare IT.
- Experience working in large healthcare systems or multi-hospital implementations.
