About the role
This position is primarily responsible for internal inspection of all types of soluble core patterns. When necessary removing the imperfections inside various types of soluble core patterns and the pattern inspection.
DUTIES/RESPONSABILITIES

Works from wax procedures, drawings and other specifications.

Using Boroscope camera and equipment removes the internal imperfections for various types of soluble core patterns

Performs the internal inspection of all wax patterns and makes a responsible decision to accept, repair or scrap the part per documented instructions

Follows established protocol for notification of potential deviations or scrap trends
-
Utilizes the necessary fixturing or gauges to assure dimensional conformance of the pattern/mold
-
Sets up and maintains small appliances as required to perform specific activities
-
Maintains the necessary stock of materials for the area to maximize productivity
-
Maintains necessary documentation
-
Willing to be cross trained in other roles/departments

Other duties as assigned

Able to follow direction and problem solve (continuous improvement)

Priority and time management skills

Ability to work independently and part of a team. Must read, write, and comprehend verbal and written activity instructions. Reads and understands sketches, designs, and plans.
