What You Can Expect :

• Serve as the primary contact for freight pricing across Canada, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all rate-related activities.
• Maintain and update ocean/air freight rates and carrier contracts in the company’s pricing systems.
• Coordinate with steamship lines, airlines and carriers to request, evaluate, and negotiate rates and service options.
• Prepare and issue quotations for Business Development Managers (BDMs) to support new business opportunities and client retention.
• Collaborate with the Key Account Management team to prepare markups, analyze rates, and develop customer-specific pricing strategies.
• Ensure precise data entry and maintain organized pricing records in Excel and internal databases.
• Monitor rate and contract expiration dates, ensuring timely renewals and updates.
• Provide backup pricing support during absences and assist other regions or teams when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance pricing efficiency, data accuracy, and internal collaboration.

What You Bring:

• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or pricing support is an asset, but not required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of initiative.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ocean freight operations or carrier rate management considered a strong asset.
• English proficiency required; French is an asset but not mandatory.
