Role: Sales – Hand Protection Specialist, Quebec
Job location: Remote, based out of Quebec
The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Outside Sales Specialist who demonstrates the ability to be a strong team player but can also be comfortable working independently and managing a given territory – primarily focused on Quebec , with potential oversight of Atlantic Canada (including Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador) as business needs evolve. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an existing account base, as well as prospecting and developing new business within the territory.
Travel Requirements: This role involves regular travel within the province of Quebec and occasional international travel as needed. A valid passport is required to meet North American company travel standards.
YOUR core responsibilities:

Maintain strong business relationships with current customers, in conjunction with prospecting new customers in the assigned territory, demonstrating consistent growth in line with monthly and annual targets

Collect information within the territory on both the local markets and competitors; prepare and present analysis at Sales Meetings
-
Maintain a consistent schedule for the territory performing regular customer visits along with timely follow up calls on all customers
-
Collect customer information, research, analyze and deliver a solution set to customers in clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
-
Participate in trade shows, conventions, company events
-
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities for easy follow up
-
Consistent in-market territory coverage involving overnight travel
-
Maintain and submit monthly expense reports to the manager for approval
What YOU BRING to Watson Gloves:
- Must possess 5+ years’ experience in the Industrial or Safety supply sector, specifically in business development role is preferred
- Possession of a post-secondary degree is preferred or equivalent work experience
- Possess excellent customer service skills and have an aptitude for problem-solving
- Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment
- Excellent prospecting and interpersonal skills
- Competitive and driven
- Fluency in French and English required in order to support our customer base
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technology savvy: proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM
- Valid driver’s license with own transportation
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
