About the role

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Accounting. Accounting technology/technician and bookkeeping. or equivalent experience. Work setting: On-site customer service. Rural area. Willing to relocate. Head office. Private sector. Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll. Calculate fixed assets and depreciation. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Maintain general ledgers and financial statements. Post journal entries. Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports. Prepare tax returns. Prepare trial balance of books. Reconcile accounts. Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software. Caseware/Caseview. MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. Quick Books. MS Office. Sage Accounting Software. Equipment and machinery experience: Scanner. Area of specialization: Accounting. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Attention to detail.
