About The Role As a Customer Service Administrator , you will assist in the safe and timely movement of pipe and precast products from the plant to customer and project sites. You will work closely with the Shipping Coordinator and cross-functional teams such as production and sales to ensure shipments are prepared accurately and delivered on schedule. This role involves handling shipping documentation, coordinating shipments, and supporting logistics processes. Attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to follow instructions are essential to succeed in this position.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Assist in preparing shipments to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Support loading, unloading, and organizing shipments safely and efficiently.
  • Help verify shipping documentation, including packing slips and bills of lading.
  • Track shipments and promptly report any delays or issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain and care for shipping equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Provide updates to supervisors regarding shipment status and operational issues.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and distribution teams to align shipments with project requirements.
  • Assist in resolving shipping issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes and support operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

What We’re Looking For Education: Grade 12

Required Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in an office environment.

Required Training/Certifications: WHMIS

Required Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace applications.

Travel Requirements: <5%

Additional Requirements

  • Basic understanding of freight, shipping, and logistics processes is an asset but not required.
  • Awareness of interprovincial transportation and freight regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of load weights, trucking regulations, and shipping documentation is an asset but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external carriers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
