Working within the Engineering team, your experience and skills will contribute to the execution of projects for our mining, oil and gas, industrial, and renewable energy clients.

Lead up as-building for drawings (ie. isometrics, P&IDs, PFDs, General Arrangements, Sections, etc)

Originating and checking documentation

Ensure design is in accordance with applicable codes, governing statutory regulations, Wood procedures, installation specific design philosophies and meets project objectives and industry best practice

Ensuring project schedules and client approved budgets are managed and met
-
Adhering to all HSSES requirements in accordance with Wood procedures and management systems
-
Preparing project documents in accordance with project, client, and company standards
-
Establishing good working relationships and communication with other discipline leads, department managers, clients, and other team members to coordinate, ensuring the compatibility of design

Expected:

Currently authorized to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood, is required

Technical diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution

Relevant work experience

5+ years of relevant experience

Any equivalent combination of experience and / or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may also be considered

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent organization, inter-personal and communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Proficiency in the following software is considered an asset: CadWorx, AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Navisworks, Microstation, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office and Outlook
