We are seeking a temporary Administrative Representative to join our Transmission Operations & Maintenance Converter Stations
South Department for approximately 15-18 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to organize, schedule, and complete work on various administrative assignments for all

sections within the department.

  • Perform daily time and expense audits using SAP/CATS transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documents related to VISA purchases and expense accounts for station staff pertaining to

Travel Expense Management.

  • Respond to staff inquiries related to time, expenses, and benefits.
  • Provide guidance on interpretation and administration of both the IBEW and AMHSSE Collective Agreements and Corporate

Policies.

  • Complete EAM Admin Rep functions including creating notifications, training, activity closeouts, and maintaining work centers

and work schedules.

  • Prepare and review service entries, goods receipts and miscellaneous billings as required to facilitate payment of invoices.
  • Perform transactions for Arc Rated FRC outline agreement.
  • Process miscellaneous billing requests.
  • Perform word processing, data entry, develop spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and SharePoint data management as

required.

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail for the station.
  • Maintain site stationary inventory.
  • Maintain administrative files relevant to day-to-day site operations according to established records management procedures

including the Records Coordinator role.

  • Ensure that duties performed comply with Corporate and regulatory environmental requirements. Report any incidents or

situations that may be harmful to the environment or in violation of corporate or regulatory requirements to line supervisor.

  • Act as the station receptionist receiving site visitors and directing inquiries to the appropriate contact.
  • Participate actively and positively in the development and achievement of department goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade12 education or equivalent and a minimum of two years related experience

OR

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent, completion of commercial vocational special courses and a minimum of one year directly

related office experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Thorough knowledge of the HRMS time and expense administration functions including the VISA reconciliation process is

required.

  • Thorough Knowledge of EAM administrative function is considered an asset.
  • Work experience processing invoices is considered an asset.
  • Good working knowledge of PC-based computer system applications, with a demonstrated ability in corporate standard

software including SAP, HRMS, EAM, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, TEAMS, eForms, Time & Expense
Management, VISA reconciliation, PowerApps, and SafetyNet.

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Have the ability to work harmoniously and cooperate with others inside and outside the Corporation.
  • Willingness to keep informed of new technology and learn new systems as they are introduced.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with security.
  • Knowledge of WS&H Recording Secretary role and responsibilities and the SMS system.
  • Familiar with and adhere to Manitoba Hydro safety rules, practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Possess a valid Province of Manitoba Drivers Licence.

Salary Range

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $26.72-$35.96 Hourly,
$51,208.04-$68,901.04 Annually.
