Contra is hiring someone to join our Client Success Team to build strong relationships and ensure hiring success on our platform. In this role, you’ll work with startups, enterprises, and creative agencies to understand their hiring needs and connect them with top independent talent.

You don’t need the perfect resume - just a genuine drive to make an impact and excitement about our mission.
What you’ll own:
- Managing all client interactions, including proactive outreach and reactive support (email, Slack, etc.)
- Matching clients with freelancers based on job posts, inquiries, and ad hoc requests. This includes reaching out to freelancers
- Manually reviewing all posts and inquiries to understand clients and their hiring needs
- Identifying top-spending and high-potential clients, and finding creative ways to engage them
- Taking calls (phone and video) and sending Looms to streamline the client–freelancer matchmaking process
- Working with tools like: Notion, Contra, Hubspot, Gsuite, Slack - you don’t need to be an expert with these, you’ll learn as you go
Requirement:
- Based in Toronto, Canada
- Hybrid - 3 days per week (Tuesday through Thursday)
Total Comp:
- Salary: $60,000 CAD
- Extended health + dental benefits
- Monthly transit/gym reimbursement
- We will provide you with a company laptop on your start date
