About the role

You’re a Senior Account Manager, Data + AI.

Location: Halifax or Toronto

You play a critical role in bridging client strategy, data intelligence, and responsible AI adoption. You’ll partner closely with senior account, strategy, and discipline leads to embed AI-enabled workflows and data-driven insights into client programs—improving efficiency, insight quality, and decision-making while maintaining high standards of judgment, governance, and craft.

You will act as a trusted advisor at the account level, translating complex business and communications needs into practical, scalable AI and data solutions. You will also lead the delivery of data intelligence and reputation insights that inform strategy, risk assessment, and growth opportunities across client accounts.

What Are Your Responsibilities?

AI & Automation Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI-enabled workflows that translate client and team needs into scalable solutions.
  • Assess tools, use cases, and risk/readiness to recommend the right AI approach per account.
  • Embed AI into strategy and execution with account and discipline leads to improve efficiency and insight quality.
  • Apply AI governance and guardrails to ensure responsible, compliant, high-quality adoption.
  • Support change management so teams use AI effectively—and know where it doesn’t fit.

Data Intelligence (DI) Responsibilities

  • Deliver data intelligence and Reputation Score reporting, turning findings into actionable insights.
  • Use social listening/media intelligence (e.g., Meltwater) and desk research to spot issues, sentiment shifts, and narrative trends.
  • Integrate media, social, and research signals into clear, insight-led stories (not just metrics).
  • Improve methodologies and reporting quality with analytics, strategy, and account partners.
  • Strengthen new business with competitive insights, analytics, and pitch-ready narratives.

Client & Account Leadership

  • Lead data and AI workstreams as a senior client contact.
  • Translate complex AI/analytics into clear, client-ready recommendations.
  • Ensure deliverables are high-quality, on time, and aligned to client goals and reputational context.
  • Identify and advance opportunities to expand data and AI impact across accounts.

What Type of Qualities and Qualifications Should I Have?

  • 6–9+ years of experience in communications, consulting, analytics, strategy, or a related field, with increasing responsibility at the account or program level.
  • Demonstrated experience applying data intelligence, analytics, or research to communications, reputation, public affairs, or brand strategy.
  • Practical experience evaluating or implementing AI tools and workflows in professional services, communications, marketing, or analytics environments.
  • Strong understanding of AI governance, risk considerations, and responsible use principles.
  • Experience working with social listening, media intelligence, or analytics platforms (e.g., Meltwater or similar tools).
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills, capable of engaging internal teams and external clients.
