The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Associate / Manager, Valuations to join our Advisory team. In this role, you will work on complex valuation engagements, collaborate closely with partners and clients, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality advisory services.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute valuation engagements for purposes including corporate transactions, financial reporting, tax planning, shareholder disputes, and strategic advisory

Build, review, and analyze financial models using standard income, market and asset-based valuation approaches, exercising sound professional judgement

Prepare and review clear, well-supported valuation reports in accordance with CBV Institute standards and professional best practices

Act as a primary point of contact for clients, management teams, and external advisors, including gathering information, discussing assumptions, and presenting valuation findings

Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, thought leadership, and participation in client meetings and presentations
What We Are Looking For
-
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; CPA designation preferred

CBV designation or currently working toward the designation is an asset
-
Three or more years of experience in valuation, financial advisory, or corporate finance; public practice experience is an asset

Demonstrated technical proficiency with valuation methodologies (CCF, DCF, market/comparable analyses, asset-based approaches) and advanced Excel modelling skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients at all levels

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
