Job Description / Duties
Montreal Children’s Hospital and McGill University seeking a full-time pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgeon to a join a team of two surgeons in an academic pediatric plastic surgery program. The role includes general pediatric plastic surgery, with an opportunity to develop programs in sub-specialty of choice. The successful candidate will also be eligible for a joint appointment at the Shriners Hospital for Children, which services local, national and international patients. Responsibilities include elective and emergency surgery, on call coverage and participation in multi-disciplinary programs. The candidate will also contribute to under-graduate and post-graduate/fellow teaching and support academic research and training.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Applicants must hold (or be eligible for) certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, be eligible for registration with the Collège des Médécins du Québec and must be bilingual in both English and French. Academic appointment at McGill University will match the candidate’s experience level.
