What You Can Expect

This position provides support for Zimmer Biomet by maintaining and expanding relationships with its customers who include distributors, sales agents and support staff. The analyst’s overall objective is to satisfy, and often exceed, Zimmer Biomet customers’ needs by ensuring accurate counting, tracking, recording and reporting of inventory across all locations. This role is critical to maintaining inventory integrity, supporting operational efficiency, and minimizing financial loss.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Responsible for counting and comparing physical stock with system records, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Schedule inventory audits in the audit scheduling tool.
  • Complete physical audits at hospitals across Canada.
  • Reconcile and investigate variances between physical and system inventory.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and operations managers from distributors to identify root causes of variances.
  • Update reconciliation tracker and submit inventory adjustments to Manager and Inventory Control team
  • Assist with external audit requirements.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately documented and compliant with internal policies.
  • Generate regular inventory reconciliation reports for management.
  • Learn and understand inventory within SAP S4 Hana and SMS.
  • Develop and recommend improvements to inventory control processes.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, especially in the areas of problem solving.
  • Highly developed organizational skills – able to handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently.
  • Exhibits a sense of urgency to complete position-specific deliverables and responsibilities.

Your Background

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Highly Preferred:
    • Associates degree, preferably in logistics, operations, business or related field.
    • 1-3+ years related experience, preferably within the medical device industry.
    • Experience with Inventory Control practices and physical audits.
    • Advanced familiarity with Microsoft Suite, specifically MS Excel.

Travel Expectations

Up to 40%

Expected Compensation Range

$61,000 - $76,000 CAD/annual

Holiday and PTO provided. This is a replacement position.
