About the Opportunity
Akkodis is partnering with a leading Canadian organization to engage a Portfolio Coordinator to support its Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).
This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented project professional looking to work within a fast-paced portfolio environment. You'll play a key role in supporting project delivery by coordinating portfolio activities, maintaining governance artefacts, and ensuring project teams have the information and support they need to execute successfully.
Working closely with Project Managers, PMO leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders, you'll help drive consistency, reporting, and operational excellence across a portfolio of strategic initiatives.
Services to be Provided
Support the day-to-day execution and administration of EPMO portfolio operations Update and maintain project plans, schedules, trackers, and status reports Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, and manage action items Track project risks, issues, and dependencies, following up with stakeholders for updates Collect project inputs and maintain portfolio reporting artefacts Liaise with project teams and functional stakeholders to support project execution Track project readiness activities and supporting documentation Maintain project repositories, document libraries, and access controls Ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and aligned with PMO governance standards
Expertise Required
At least 3+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Portfolio Coordinator, PMO Coordinator, or similar role Experience supporting multiple projects within an Enterprise PMO or Portfolio Management environment Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail Experience maintaining project schedules, trackers, RAID logs, and project documentation Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, SmartSheets, SharePoint or similar.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification is considered an asset but is not required Experience working within insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is beneficial Familiarity with PMO governance, portfolio reporting, and project management best practices
