About the role
WCLC is currently looking for an Information Systems Auditor to join our Audit & Risk department in Winnipeg. The Audit & Risk team performs integrated reviews of business processes within the organization. This includes the identification, assessment and treatment of potential risks as well as ensuring the integrity of draw operations. We are seeking experienced candidates that are interested in joining a team of motivated and skilled audit and risk professionals.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

This position will assist with planning and conducting information systems, functional, operational and compliance audits and consulting including:

Identification of audit issues

Perform risk assessments
-
Determine the scope and objectives of audit and consulting engagements

Draft audit and consulting programs
-
Plan all aspects of audit and consulting engagements
-
Execute audit and consulting programs
-
Provide recommendations and follow up on implementation
-
Prepare technical specifications for draw audit system
-
Liaise with the developer of the draw audit system
-
Support the draw audit system through testing and troubleshooting
-
Provide training, support and coaching to the Evening Draw Auditors
-
Develop and update draw audit procedures
-
Act as on-call support according to nightly draw schedule (includes weekends and holidays)
-
Participate in draw audit events
-
Participate in activities related to Enterprise Risk Management program.
Qualifications and Competencies
-
Minimum 3 years external or internal IT audit experience, or a combination thereof
-
Bachelor of Computer Science degree or other related post-secondary degree
-
CISA designation, or commitment to obtaining same
-
Experience with performing IT General Control reviews at the application, database-operating system, and network infrastructure levels is essential
-
Knowledge of COBIT and awareness of COSO Internal Control - Integrated Framework is required.

Ability to travel as required throughout the year to locations in Canada (very few times)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Strong disposition towards continuous learning and development

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team

Sound analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-
Professional accounting designation an asset
-
Legally authorized to work in Canada
