About this Role

The Sales Assistant is responsible for representing Tamarack Homes and demonstrating what we offer as a new home builder. As a key member of the customer experience, the Sales Assistant greets all customers and provides our customers with information on Tamarack homes and developments. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality approach to all employees, customers, prospective homeowners, managers and suppliers. The Sales Assistant, in coordination with the Sales Representatives are responsible for carrying out policies and procedures that support the strategy and goals of home buildings by Tamarack Developments.

Who are you?

We're looking for a friendly and proactive person who is the first point of contact for our clients. You are a welcoming presence, an excellent communicator, and the go-to person for keeping our sales office running smoothly. You have a reliable vehicle and are able to commute to our Findlay Creek Village Sales Centre.

To Thrive in this Position, You Will:

  • Be the face of our company: Greet clients, answer phones, and respond to emails with professionalism and warmth during our operating hours: Monday to Thursday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday, Sunday, and all statutory holidays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

  • Keep everything in order: Manage daily administrative tasks, including data entry, preparing sales reports and contracts, and maintaining client files. You'll also ensure our model homes are tidy and well-maintained.

  • Be a team player: Work closely with our Sales Representatives to support the sales process. This includes handling promotional materials, updating pricing sheets, and identifying potential leads.

  • Be organized and detail-oriented: Your strong organizational skills will be key in managing your time, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring all documentation is accurate.

  • Have solid experience: You have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in an administrative or sales role. Knowledge of the home building industry is a bonus.

  • Be a great communicator: You can build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Fluency in both English and French is a great asset.

  • Have a knack for tech: You're comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook for various administrative duties.
