Job Description Are you ready to turn data into decisions? As a Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping the financial direction of the business by partnering with operations to deliver timely updates, build forecasts, and support strategic planning.
This is a hands-on role where your analytical skills and business acumen will shine. You’ll lead monthly discussions with internal stakeholders, diving into performance metrics and uncovering trends that drive smarter decisions. Your work will ensure financial information is accurate, actionable, and aligned with business goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with operations to provide regular updates on actuals and build financial forecasts.
- Support annual budgeting and strategic planning initiatives.
- Lead monthly sessions with internal teams to review key metrics and analyze financial performance.
- Consolidate and present financial insights that help guide business strategy.
- Manage cash forecasting to ensure liquidity, mitigate risk, and identify opportunities for investment and efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Assist with indirect spending and cost control, updating budget owners on period results and working closely with operations to create financial forecasts.
- Assist in creating the annual budget and strategic planning activities.
- Update and report on staff and hourly workforce hours, headcount, and turnover for various overheard business units (period).
- Ensure the health of ISI’s annual cash and investment profile, working closely with Claims, Accounts Payable, and Treasury (weekly).
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives related to cash management.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives related to financial reporting and cost controls.
- Ad hoc analysis, reporting and special requests as required.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Commerce or Business Administration.
- CPA designation or pursuing CPA is considered an asset.
- In-depth knowledge working with financial statements and the ASPE framework.
- Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify stakeholder needs.
- Accountability for team deliverables.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in environments of both Financial Reporting and Cost Accounting.
- Experience working with Engineering, Construction, Production and Supply Chain.
- Demonstrated experience working with financial shared services (AP, AR, Treasury, etc.).
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Experience in delivering presentations to senior management
