What will you be doing?
We are seeking a hands-on Senior HRIS Manager to lead a small team of system administrators supporting Circana’s HR technology ecosystem—primarily UKG Pro and Workforce Management, with oversight of Eightfold (CRM) and Docebo (LMS). This role is ideal for a player/coach who can balance leadership, prioritization, and mentorship with strong technical depth in UKG Pro. The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex system challenges, driving focus on high-impact work, and guiding others to grow in their roles. You’ll partner closely with HR, IT, and Learning teams to ensure our HR systems are optimized, integrated, and aligned with business needs.
Job Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of system administrators supporting UKG, Eightfold, and Docebo.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement in partnership with Product and Project Management.
- Serve as a player/coach—balancing leadership with direct hands-on contributions.
- Manage priorities, capacity, and workload across a geographically dispersed team to ensure focus on high-impact initiatives.
- Mentor and support professional growth.
- Partner with HR leadership to align system strategy with business needs.
- Collaborate closely with the Learning team and HR Technology leadership to align administration priorities.

Systems Ownership & Execution
- Oversee the administration and optimization of UKG Pro and Workforce Management (primary responsibility).
- Serve as the internal UKG subject matter expert, with strong hands-on ability in UKG Pro (Core HR), Workforce Management, and ideally Total Rewards.
- Support and provide oversight for Eightfold (CRM) and Docebo (LMS) administration.
- Act as the escalation point for complex system issues or urgent bottlenecks.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security across all HR systems.
- Lead system upgrades, testing, and new module implementations.
- Partner with IT, HR, and business stakeholders to optimize integrations and workflows.

Strategic & Operational Impact
- Translate business needs into system configurations and process improvements.
- Take ownership of day-to-day HR system operations to allow senior leadership to focus on strategic initiatives.
- Develop governance, documentation, and best practices for HR system usage.
- Stay current on vendor roadmaps and emerging HR technology trends.
- Drive automation and process efficiencies to enhance employee and manager experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a UKG Pro and Workforce Management administrator, including configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated comfort and ability to manage priorities and drive focus on critical work.
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a team (formal or informal leadership)
- Proven ability to serve as a player/coach, balancing hands-on system administration with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes (core HR, payroll, timekeeping, talent, learning).
- Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and project management skills.
- Experience collaborating across global teams and multiple time zones.
- Ability to build strong partnerships across HR, IT, and business teams.
- Strong communication and change management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with UKG Workforce Management implementation or support.
- Familiarity with Eightfold CRM and/or Docebo LMS.
- Familiarity with total rewards and system integration between HR and learning platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

The salary range listed below reflects the potential compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary above or below the stated range and may be adjusted in the future. Placement within the range will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, work schedule, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, applicable collective agreements, and organizational needs.
The salary range for this role is CAD $90,000 to CAD $105,000.
This position may also be eligible for additional compensation such as bonus.
