Job Summary
The Centre for Collaborative Clinical Learning & Research (C3LR) provides space and resources for experiential learning and research. The C3LR offers innovative educational opportunities for multi-health discipline, uni-professional, and interprofessional education through simulation, interprofessional collaboration, and innovative pedagogies that lead to improved transition of graduates to their professional practice areas. Reporting to the Director, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support in a dual capacity for both the SimEd Partners Collaborative and Faculty of Medicine Director of Simulation.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinates and arranges various committee meetings for the SimEd Partners’ Collaborative, SimEd Oversight Committee and the Director of Simulation.

Acts as the recording secretary for the SimEd Partners’ Collaborative, SimEd Oversight Committee and the Director of Simulation.

Maintains a sound working knowledge of policies, procedures, issues and projects related to the Sim Ed Partners’ Collaborative activities.

Maintains and manages all documentation associated with the Collaborative.
Note
The successful applicant will primarily work remotely from within Nova Scotia with occasional presence in-person on-campus to meet client needs and operation requirements.
Required Qualifications
-
Business/Administrative Professional program with three to five years’ experience in a senior administrative support role (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).

Demonstrated ability to work in a high profile, confidential environment.
-
Minute taking experience.
-
Proficient computer skills with relevant applications such as Microsoft Office, social media, internet, intranet, cloud computing.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities.
Assets
Experience in an academic and/or healthcare environment.
