About the role

Job Description Toast is recruiting on behalf of ZayZoon, a fast-growing fintech company on a mission to improve the financial well-being of working Americans and Canadians. ZayZoon provides earned wage access by integrating directly with payroll providers, giving employees the flexibility to access their earned pay before payday.

ZayZoon is looking for an Event Marketing Coordinator to join their marketing team. This is a key role supporting ZayZoon’s expansion across North America, helping to grow brand awareness through strategic conference participation and trade show execution. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in event marketing and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where autonomy and creativity are encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end execution of conferences and trade shows, including coordination of logistics, booths, A/V, and vendor requirements
  • Develop and manage event budgets, tracking costs by platform and event type
  • Create and execute integrated marketing plans for pre- and post-event communications across email, social, and sales enablement
  • Manage lead tracking, reporting, and attribution of pipeline from events
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across partner marketing, sales, and product to align on event goals and messaging
  • Maintain and evolve event materials, swag themes, and booth design for maximum brand consistency and engagement
  • Support select enterprise and Canadian market events in coordination with senior team members
  • Assist with vendor relationships and shipping logistics for booth materials and giveaways

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of event marketing experience, ideally in tech, HR, payroll, or SaaS
  • Demonstrated ability to manage logistics for both large-scale conferences and intimate trade shows
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional efforts with design, social, and content teams
  • Skilled in event communications planning (email, social media, sales playbooks)
  • Proven track record of managing budgets and delivering ROI from in-person events
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving and creative environment
  • Based in Canada
