About the role
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Forecast & Pricing Analyst on a permanent basis on our Petroleum Commercial sales team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton or Winnipeg.
Join our Energy Products & Services team as a Forecast & Pricing Analyst and play a key role in delivering timely Energy market intelligence to key stakeholders across the Co-operative Retailing System . In this role, you’ll combine analytical expertise with market insight to deliver critical intelligence to stakeholders across the system, and support forecast and pricing functions.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and distribute timely market insight communications, summarizing global, North American, and Western Canadian energy market developments and their operational impacts.
- Support the petroleum sales forecasting function by maintaining accurate data inputs and collaborating with the Co-op Refinery Complex, Supply & Drading, and internal stakeholders.
- Support in the preparation of short- and long-term forecasts to support refinery production scheduling, financial modeling, and strategic decision-making.
- Monitor market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and margin fluctuations, providing insights that inform forecasting and pricing strategies.
- Support the administration of pricing programs by supporting rollout, monitoring performance, resolving discrepancies, and responding to inquiries from Zone Advisors and Local Co-ops.
Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will work closely with and will report into the Senior Forecast Specialist.
The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Energy business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Supply Chain, the CRC and local co-ops.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Business Strategy and Operations Advisory and :
- Have 1- 3 years experience in energy or commodity markets, forecasting or pricing analysis, or financial modeling.
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in business or economics; other degrees will also be considered (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and a strong analytical thinker.
