What to Expect: You will be responsible for providing analytical support and insights for the management of a National Buy-Sell Network and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations. You will work directly with external distributors. You will be accountable for the development and timely submission of business development analyses and insights to support business growth and trade management within the Distributor Buy-Sell Network. As the Transport Analyst, you will ensure data compliance and accuracy. Additionally, you will be accountable for the maintenance and creation of measures to support better decisions and insights of the End-to-End (E2E) Direct Delivery Ice Cream Network, from Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) to refusals/returns.
A day in the life of a Transportation Analyst
- Accurate assessment of data from a multitude of sources to provide keen insights and recommendations to the DSD strategy to support growth within the Distributor / Wholesaler Buy Sell Network.
- Accurate maintenance of required reporting to support the Buy Sell Network
- Compliance to Nestlé Ice Cream Everyday Market Ready through the development of in store execution plans and continuous review of the effectiveness of in-store actions.
- Operational Buy Sell network improvements identified, reported and recommendations provided
- Effective development and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) daily/weekly/monthly
- Effective support to maintain an industry-best Direct Store Delivery (DSD) network with respect to Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Compliance
- Demonstrated value creation through Lean Enterprise behaviours
Role Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in managing data /analysis and providing insights and critical recommendations.
- 2 years’ experience working in a transportation, shipper, distributor, carrier environment across the Canadian market and/or worldwide.
- Diploma in Logistics, Business, Finance or any related field
- Advanced skill level in Excel, Power Bi, PowerPoint, automation, Power Apps
- Outstanding organizational skills, effective time management, exceptional prioritization abilities, proficient in project management, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in gathering data and storytelling to deliver actionable insights
- Strong comprehension of CPG customer base and hierarchies
Preferred Skills
- English and French language skills is preferred, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders
