Location : Scarborough, ON Position Type : Graduate, Full-Time The Opportunity We are building a talent pool for an Estimator and a Customer Service Representative role for our Pre-Print division based out Scarborough site. The positions are for future vacancy only.
What You'll Do As An Estimator
- Create and manage pre-print estimates
- Maintain estimating procedures and policies
- Keep estimating data and prices up to date in RTS
- Update and implement price increases as directed
- Review and update freight and shipping costs
- Work with shipping for inventory accuracy and movement
- Back up paper purchasing, shipments and planning
- Update and implement paper grade changes in RTS
- Work with Customer service to obtain accurate information for estimating
- Work with Customer Service to manage finished goods inventory at required levels
- Participate in inventory counts and audits
- Other duties as required
Experience What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education, training and experience
- Packaging Industry experience required
- Excellent analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills combined with excellent computer skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to read packaging design drawings
What You'll Do What you'll do as an Customer Service Representative
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients in a professional manner
- Process customer orders via, fax, email & internet
- Answer customer product, pricing & availability inquiries
- Liaise with buyer/expeditors to fulfill customer orders
- Coordinate shipments with carriers
- Support outside Sales Representatives
- Participate in Planning and Scheduling initiatives and activities
- Estimating projects and RFQ’s
- Other duties as required
Experience
- College diploma in business- or business-related discipline or comparable work experience
- Intermediate skills in MS Word and Outlook
- 5+ years of Customer Service Experience
- Strong written & verbal communication & organizational skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to work autonomously and with little direction in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Ability to present themselves in a professional manner
