About the role
Job Description The Service Clerk III is responsible for handling customer devices returned for service, including receiving, cleaning, triaging, packaging, and shipping.
This role also involves managing the spare parts inventory by receiving shipments, distributing components to service technicians, cycle-counting and fulfilling customer orders.
All activities are documented within the organization's system of record (Oracle) to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Order parts and participate in the planning process for parts inventory to support customer orders and Service Technicians' needs for product repair
- Create and maintain folders/inventory for Loaners / Demo Equipment
- Receive field return devices and goods to the Service and Repair Department
- Decontaminate field returns in the decontamination Room
- Verify the vendor packing list quantities
- Enter return repairs in Oracle database
- Count, package, and stock service and repair parts. Pick components for the Service and Repair department as well as external customer repair centers
- Resolve all component quantity / lot issues
- Clean, package, and label all pumps
- Enter data pertaining to inventory movement on Oracle and file paperwork
- Perform cycle counts
- Pick and prepare for shipment components to be returned to vendors
- Ship goods and / or products to vendors and customers
- Organize Service & Repair inventory and maintain a neat area for optimum space utilization
- Work on special projects as they arise.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Computer Literacy-Microsoft applications and SAP required
- High degree of interpersonal relations skills required to work with cross functional department
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous Data Entry experience desired
- Accuracy in typing and data entry
Education And Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Travel Requirements
- Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
Physical Requirements And Work Environment
- Work is performed in a general office working environment
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Visual and manual dexterity skills required due to prolonged use of computer
