Esports Content Creator - Student Work Study job opportunities open to full-time Fanshawe College students who qualify for the Work Study Bursary program.
This opportunity is supported through The Work Study Employment Program, which is designed to provide work opportunities to Fanshawe College full-time post-secondary or post diploma students with a demonstrated financial need.

Contract - Temporary Part-Time (May 2026 - August 2026)
Up to 35 hours of work per week
- Must be in good academic standing according to program requirements.
Summary The Esports Content Creator will be responsible for developing, designing, and publishing digital content to promote the FSU’s Esports program across social media platforms, the FSU website, and other digital channels. This includes creating engaging posts, graphics, short-form videos, promotional materials, and event coverage. The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about gaming, social media, and digital trends. The Content Creator will work closely with the Esports team and Communications staff to maintain consistent brand messaging and showcase the dynamic culture of Esports at Fanshawe.
This is a part-time Work Study position designed for full-time Fanshawe College students.
Job Duties
- Design and publish social media content (graphics, stories, reels, posts, etc.) to highlight Esports events, players, and community updates
- Create short-form video content and promotional material for FSU platforms
- Attend Esports events, tournaments, and practices to capture photos and content
- Collaborate with the Esports team and Communications staff to ensure alignment with brand standards
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, and YouTube
- Monitor engagement analytics to help optimize content strategy
- Develop content calendars and campaign ideas to grow community engagement
- Assist with livestream promotion and digital marketing for Esports broadcasts
- Organize and archive media assets for ongoing use
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student approved for the Work Study program
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media platforms
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut) is an asset
- Strong understanding of content trends on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
- Passion for Esports and familiarity with gaming culture
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and creative
