JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to join our Cloud & App Security team within Managed Services. In this operational role, you will be responsible for strengthening cloud security by supporting client cloud environments, implementing solutions dedicated to data protection, and ensuring compliance with security standards. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to configure and optimize security solutions, drive automation, and embed security into cloud applications and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the security of client cloud environments and applications.

  • Configure, administer, and optimize Microsoft Defender solutions, Azure DLP, and related security controls (PIM, IAM).

  • Implement security automation (scripting, policy automation) to improve efficiency and consistency.

  • Assist with audits, ensuring compliance with NIST frameworks and other relevant security standards.

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to design, build, and maintain secure cloud solutions.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain protocols to safeguard data and enterprise systems.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on cloud security best practices.

  • Maintain operational and security standards within service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

  • Must possess (or be eligible to obtain) Canadian government security clearance.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Cloud security (Azure).
  • Working experience with Microsoft Defender suite and Azure DLP; experience with PIM and IAM is an asset.
  • Experience with security automation, scripting, and policy enforcement.
  • Knowledge of NIST security frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s or college degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Security, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Open to learning and cross-training in related security domains.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
