Position Summary Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga has an exciting new opportunity for a General Grinder . The purpose of this position is to set up and/or run all types of grinding machines, including numerical control/manual, to the level required to produce quality work.

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up and/or run numerical control/manual tool grinding machines to sharpen cutting tools and broach steels to the required quality
• Demonstrate versatility in all types of grinding and perform regular set-up and operation of different types of grinding machines

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Technical Training
• Machining Courses or equivalent
• Excellent Communication skills
• Blueprint Reading/Math skills
• 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Environment
• Complete operations as per OP Sheet / Drawing/ Layout and verbal instructions
• Work to blueprints, sketches, design drawings and like information, oral orders and required tolerances
• Attention to detail
• Dealing with ambiguity
• Functional/technical skills
• Priority setting
