Technology Consulting Practitioner
About the role
We are looking for a Technology Consulting Practitioner with strong experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, Amazon Connect integrations, analytics pipelines, Terraform, and client-facing technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure across multiple environments. Develop solutions using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, and KMS. Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform. Work within a foundation and platform repository model to support standardized and reusable cloud deployments.
Amazon Connect IVR and API Integration
Lead the architecture and delivery of a PrivateLink-based integration layer between Amazon Connect and internal enterprise APIs. Design and implement OAuth 2.0 authentication.
Configure and support AWS networking components, including
NAT Gateway VPC interface endpoints Route 53 private hosted zones PrivateLink connectivity Configure TLS using an internal root certificate authority. Troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, API, and certificate-related issues across AWS and enterprise environments.
Analytics Data Pipeline Delivery
Design, build, and operate a multi-stage AWS Step Functions data pipeline. Produce nightly reporting using Amazon Athena. Manage daily SFTP file delivery to a downstream business team. Ensure end-to-end pipeline reliability and operational support.Implement error handling, retry logic, and failure-recovery processes. Configure CloudWatch monitoring, logging, and alerting. Maintain reconciliation and processing-status tracking using DynamoDB.
Infrastructure as Code
Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules. Contribute to shared infrastructure repositories. Follow established cloud foundation, security, naming, and deployment standards. Support code reviews, testing, release management, and troubleshooting of Terraform deployments.
Client Engagement and Delivery
Serve as a primary technical point of contact for the client team. Lead technical working sessions, design discussions, and status calls. Track and manage open dependencies, risks, decisions, and action items. Coordinate delivery across client platform teams and consulting workstreams. Communicate technical issues, progress, and required decisions clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure. Advanced experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, KMS, and CloudWatch. Strong Amazon Connect and IVR integration experience. Experience integrating Amazon Connect with private enterprise APIs. Hands-on knowledge of AWS PrivateLink, VPC networking, NAT Gateway, interface endpoints, and Route 53 private hosted zones. Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 authentication and enterprise TLS certificate configurations. Strong Terraform development experience, including reusable modules and shared repository models. Experience designing and operating production data pipelines.Knowledge of SFTP-based data delivery and reconciliation processes. Strong troubleshooting and production-support capabilities.Excellent client-facing communication and technical leadership skills. Experience coordinating delivery across multiple internal, client, and consulting teams.
Preferred Experience
Experience working within a large financial institution or similarly regulated enterprise environment. Familiarity with internal certificate authorities and enterprise security controls. Experience delivering solutions through a consulting organization. AWS certification at the Associate or Professional level.
